When your children understand!

The effects of domestic violence on children and young people | Family & Community Services (nsw.gov.au)

My daughter touched my heart yesterday with this post.....I will let the words speak for themselves for today's blog:

From Tamica Bernard-my first born.

"The core of my soul is rocked after finishing the series Maid on Netflix. Warning this show is earth shattering, and will make you understand domestic violence in a new light. My take away. Thank you mommie for all of your mistakes, tears, hard work, determination, perseverance, and dedication to us. You are phenomenal. Through the good, the bad, the ugly, the darkest moments, and the unspeakable tragedies the outcome is love. Unequivocal, unfiltered, an unmatched love. No one will ever be able to top that feeling. Thank you RevDr Crystal D. Walker I finally have a small clue to the sacrifices that you made for us, and hope to show that to my children one day.
